Enhances the quality of life for our members by meeting or exceeding their service expectations. Provides high-quality service, defined as ensuring prompt and accurate transactions, while utilizing a needs-based referral and selling approach that builds member relationships, trust, and loyalty, delivered in a professional, member-centric environment. Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person, via phone, and through the mail. Balances each day's transactions and assigned cash and negotiables. Performs a broad variety of member services functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificates, and assisting members with questions and problems, providing a complete service experience. Answers members’ questions regarding Credit Union services and performs a variety of account maintenance duties. Actively cross-sells Credit Union services and participates in a needs-based sales environment. Performs specific assigned tasks, and assists other Member Service Consultants with duties as required.

High school graduate or equivalent.
Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and policies.
Understanding of Teller/Member Service Representative functions.
Member Service Driven.
One year to three years of similar or related experience in the banking and/or financial industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to operate related computer applications and basic business equipment.
Good team player abilities.
Notary & NMLS preferred. Certificate required upon hire.
