    Name: Native Grass Planting
    Date: October 13, 2017
    Time: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM MST
    Grass Ready to Plant
    Event Description:
Volunteers needed! Please join Friends of Verde River Greenway to assist with planting, weeding and irrigating at Rezzonico Park in Camp Verde on Friday, October 13th from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.

The seed produced will be used for local restoration projects, shared with community volunteers and herbicide free native grass hay will be made available to local gardeners. The long-term goal is to inspire municipalities and private landowners to incorporate native grasses in future landscaping projects.

Instructions: Meet at Rezzonico Park (next to the Camp Verde Library 130 Black Bridge Loop Rd, Camp Verde). Bring a lunch, water, sun hat, close-toed shoes and clothes that are comfortable to work in. We will provide refill water, coffee, snacks, tools and supplies, and fun facts about native grass. For any questions, please contact Kate Watters at agavemariadesign@gmail.com.

This event is free! If you would like to volunteer, please register at the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/native-grass-planting-registration-38518432669.
